About this Limited Edition

VLIER - Kombucha is available as a single 75cl bottle.

VLIER is a combination of blended and aged kombucha (7-month-old) using Chinese Keemun and Sencha teas which have been infused with wild fermented elderflowers. The specially selected elderflower was hand-picked in the summer of 2020 and gently soaked with a 'duvet' of sliced organic lemons. For added depth and flavour the elderflowers were fermented using wild yeasts before adding them to the kombucha.

Once fully infused, it was allowed to condition and mature before bottling in Champagne-style bottles.

Enjoy this non-alcoholic yet full-bodied alternative to Champagne or sparkling wine.

Let's make non-alcoholic sexy and delicious again!

But wait, there’s more!

The first 100 orders will receive a commemorative Tenugui which was made in Japan and is also known as a cloth without limits.

 YAYA Kombucha Tenugui

 What is a Tenugui?

A tenugui (手拭い) is a thin Japanese hand towel made from cotton. Typically, tenugui are about 35 by 90 centimeters in size, plain woven, and almost always dyed with some pattern. Usually the long sides are finished with a selvage, and the short sides are just cut and so soon show some fraying.

Tenugui come in many colours, patterns and in Japan it is known as the cloth with many purposes. You can use it as decoration, as a head garment, gift wrap, for a picnic occasion or as a simple cleaning cloth. Our Tenugui was hand-dyed in Osaka by a true artisan and shipped back to Amsterdam.

We would love it if you would share your creative use of the VLIER Tenugui :)
